ILKKM Medical and Allied Health Graduate Conference 2019 is eligible for 15 CPD Points!!
The ILKKM Medical and Allied Health (IMAH Graduate Conference) Graduate Conference 2019 will be held on 22 -23 August 2019. It is aimed at enhancing knowledge, understanding and sharing of current information to ILKKM trainees in Malaysia especially in ILKKM Sg Buloh on research conducted throughout 2019. This program is valued with experience and ideas sharing sessions on the implementation of research based on the medical and health sciences conducted at the Training Institute of Ministry of Health Malaysia. This conference provides a platform for selection of quality research and wishes to be presented nationally and internationally at other seminars. Our goals for this conference will transform the output of presentation into international open access publication.

Mdm. Musaropah, Occupational Therapist hold Master Medical Science (Rehabilitation Medicine) from University of Malaya in 2018. She was graduated from University of Teeside in BSc (Hons.) Applied Rehabilitation (Occupational Therapy) in 2004. She published more than 10 scientific articles including manuscript, posters and professional training module. With vast experience and professional contribution, she now headed the Occupational Therapy Program in ILKKM Sungai Buloh. She was contributing significant research output since the establishment of Research Management Centre ILKKM Sungai Buloh.
Fatimah Sham, Registered Nurse and Senior Lecturer from Universiti Teknologi MARA. She hold Master in Nursing (Community Health) from UKM and obtained her Degree in UiTM. She poses Public Health Pos Basic Certificate and Midwifery Post Basic Course. She currently hold various position professional membership including Malaysian Nurses Association, Malaysian Nurse Union, MERCY, AKRAM, MITASA, Malaysia Red Cresent Selangor and Malaysian Tobacco Control Council.
Zuraidah Mohamad is a Senior Physiotherapy Lecturer in ILKKM Sungai Buloh. She graduate from University of Teesside, UK and obtained her Master in Health Science (Physiotherapy) from UiTM. She is a professional member of Malaysian Physiotherapy Association. She published more than 3 scientific publication which had been presented locally and internationally. She had valuable experience as Principal Investigator (PI) under Research Grant Scheme (RUG) UiTM.
ISMAIL SA (Syazwan ), environmental and occupational health researcher and consultant, where he specialized in exposure assessment and epidemiology. Syazwan’s span of experience ranges from conducting chemical monitoring of hazardous material to health, epidemiological study for indoor air quality (IAQ), forensic applications of environmental health, and ergonomics. In 2012, Syazwan had been a grant holder on private grant research projects (under UPM, Research Management Center) totaling over USD18, 000 - as Principal Investigator. Apart from contributing to his professional organization, Syazwan being a member of Malaysian Association of Environmental Health (MAEH) as Assistant Secretary II and a full member of the Malaysia Industrial Hygiene Association (MIHA). In addition, he has published over 20 article in journals, technical guidelines, television show, radio commentary and newspaper related to IAQ and environmental health research. His research interests are mainly on exposure monitoring and modelling for inhalation, particle measurement, skin and ingestion in environmental and occupational settings. In addition, he was a professional IAQ Assessor [2011-2013] and a Voting Member of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (UK) and he currently based in Allied Health Sciences College Sungai Buloh, Ministry of Health Malaysias a Tutor (Environmental Health). He currently nominated as President and Editorial Director for Research Management Centre (RMC) ILKKM Sungai Buloh.
Hazila Abdul Kadir graduated from University of Northumbria, England in 2010. After that, she received Master in Nursing (Public Health) from UKM. Hazila currently pursuing her PhD (Public Health) in UKM. She hold professional certification in Midwifery and one of the important key personal in Nursing Research in ILKKM Sungai Buloh.
Hazila Abdul Kadir
Mdm. Santhekumari was previously work as Radiation Therapist in Hospital Kuala Lumpur. She started her formal tertiary education in Ministry of Health Malaysia and Universiti Selangor (UNISEL). She was a UKM graduate of BSc (Hons.) Medical Imaging and Radiotherapy in 2009 and 2017 for her Master of Health Science (Radiotherapy). She authored and co-authored more than 5 scientific articles including oral and poster presentation. With her in depth technical experience and professional contribution, she contribute significantly in curriculum development for Radiography and Radiotherapy program in ILKKM Sungai Buloh.
Santhekumari a/p Sithamparam
Sharizan Mohd Kusairi, is a Certified Paediatric Nurse and a Vice President of Research Management Centre ILKKM Sungai Buloh. She hold BSc.(Hons.) in Nursing (Open University Malaysia) and Master in Nursing from University of Malaya. She presented more than 6 scientific findings in national and international seminar and conferences. She currently course coordinator for Advance Diploma Paediatric Nurse (ADPN) in ILKKM Sungai Buloh. She is an active member of Malaysian Nursing Association (MNA) and Malaysian Paediatric Association (MPA).
Sharizan Mohd Kusairi
Mdm Hayati Mohd Nasir, Certified Peadiatric Nurse and Midwifery. She hold MSc (Nursing) in Women's Health from UiTM and Bachelor Degree from University Malaya. She currently coordinator of the Advance Diploma Peadiatric Nursing in ILKKM Sungai Buloh and she one of professional members in Publication , Innovation and Pattern Division Research Management Centre (RMC) ILKKM Sungai Buloh. She presented and supervised more than 10 research project related to women health, peadiatric and nursing studies.
Hayati Mohd Nasir
Mdm L. Yohgasundary A/P Letchumanan, Vice President of Malaysian Nurses Association (MNA) from 2017 until now. She graduated from Universiti Malaya for her Master of Science (Nursing), Degree of Nursing Science (Education) and Degree of Social Science (Public Administration). She qualified as Midwifery Nurses and Workmen's Accident Medical Treatment (Japan). She currently headed the Examination and Quality Unit ILKKM Sungai Buloh. She had vast experienced in conducting research project and published more than 3 papers. Her professional contribution towards research was significant towards the appointment as Chief Editor for Journal of Malaysian Nurses Association (JOMNA) and editor of Malaysian Nurses Association Bulletin. She present more than 10 papers in National and Internationally since 2006.

Registration and Conference Fees
All participants are welcome to this conference.
The fees for this conference will be RM30 (without meals) and RM60 (with meals). Participants can choose the ticket according to their need. The conference fees include conference material/kit, conference proceeding (online publication-will be announced) and e-certificate.

A total of 10 speakers will present lectures on their respective fields of expertise from IPTA, IPTS, and other ILKKM Lecturer. There are also lectures delivered from representatives policy makers from the Ministry of Health Malaysia.
The conference also provided space and opportunity for participants to present their findings through poster slots. Special room was created, and competition concepts were introduced to attract more participation. Our target is not only ILKKM students but also IPTA students as well as IPTS throughout the country.
Short Courses/ Workshop
The conference also provides slots for short-term generic courses. Slots for 1 to 2 hours are reserved for invited lecturers to deliver sharing within smaller targeting groups.
